Wandering AlbatrossDiomedea exulans

Habitat
The albatross wanders for months at a time searching for food. it sleeps on the ocean surface at night and drinks seawater. They nest on barren islands with thousands of other birds.
Description
The wandering albatross has a 4m. wingspread. It is white with black wing tips; pink or orange patches are on the side of the head.
Threats To
Long-line fishing. They see the bait on the end of the line and, mistaking it for a fish, find themselves caught on the hook.
