Habitat
These otters live in freshwater wetlands and mangrove swamps. They spend more time on land than many other types of otters.
Description
The asian small-clawed otter is the smallest otter in the world and is about 65 cm. in length and weighs under 5 kg. It has a glossy brown coat with a lighter-colored throat. Its webbed feet have small blunt claws.
Threats To
Destruction of the otter's wetland habitat.
